  • "The Paris Olympic commemorative sculpture 'United in the Same Boat' is unveiled in France."

    On September 6th local time, the unveiling ceremony of the large-scale Paris Olympics commemorative sculpture "United in the Same Boat", donated by the China Central Radio and Television General Station to the French National Olympic and Sports Committee, and the launch ceremony of the "Olympic Peace Park" were held at the Château de Catara in Grand Nouvaise City, Île-de-France region, France. Shen Haixiong, Vice Minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the China Central Radio and Television General Station, sent a congratulatory letter to the event. Luo Shaye, Chinese Ambassador to France, Stéphane Hatto, Chief Cultural Officer of the French National Olympic Committee, and Brigitte Massini, Mayor of Grand Nouvaise City, attended the event and delivered speeches.   The permanent completion of this tribute, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France and blessing the Paris Olympics, at the Château de Catara vividly showcases the shared journey and cooperation between the two countries, interpreting the noble ideals of "peace, friendship, progress" in the Olympic movement. The simultaneous launch of the "Olympic Peace Park" also adds a new venue for experiencing the Olympic spirit and enhancing dialogue and exchange in the city that marked the beginning of modern Olympic sports.
